Frequent questions

What is Heliopatch?

Heliopatch is a technology that uses specially treated elemental magnesium as the source of electrons. As magnesium corrodes, its electrons are transferred to you, where they neutralize free radicals. Free radicals are created in many ways and can cause pain, so neutralizing them neutralizes pain. Because it is applied externally to the area of pain, it can directly target irritated areas, unlike the general pain treatment of oral pills. Because you do not ingest Heliopatch, no digestive system interaction with other medications and supplements is anticipated. Likewise, this will not affect your stomach or liver the way other pain medications do. There is no drug to metabolize, just the electrons and nutrient ions that make up the patch and gel.

What are the ingredients in Heliopatch?

Water, glycerin, elemental magnesium, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, silver. All of these have been safely applied to the skin in much higher concentrations than the patch provides.

Is the heliopatch safe?

Yes. Our technology for Heliopatch has been used continuously for several years and the only known negative side effect has been skin irritation in a very small number of people.

Where can Heliopatch be applied?

Heliopatch can be applied to any area of non-sensitive skin. Some areas are difficult to adhere to because the skin is curved or moves a lot (i.e. the elbow or knee joint). For these areas, we suggest placing it above or below the point of articulation. Very delicate skin (i.e. genitalia, eyelids, etc.) may be more prone to irritation than larger areas of skin (i.e. arms, legs, neck, torso, and back ), where the patch is ideally placed and will have the greatest effect. Do not put the patch on areas of damaged or infected skin (ie no cuts).

How many patches can I apply at the same time?

It is safe to apply as many Heliopatch patches on your body as you like. If you apply multiple patches to a concentrated area, they will work together to supply ions and electrons to your body, resulting in a longer and more powerful period of sustained relief. The more patches you apply together, the longer these benefits will last.

What type of pain does Heliopatch treat?

The ideal type of pain is one that is localized to a particular tissue and has a known cause. If the pain is of unknown origin or persists for long periods of time, we suggest that you consult a doctor. Similarly, if the pain intensifies, it is very likely that you are using it for an injury for which it is not effective. Stop using immediately and seek medical attention.

How long can I use the patches?

The patch does not have a set shelf life and it is up to the individual user how long it lasts. People with high oxidative stress will find that wearing the patch lasts for a day, while those with low oxidative stress will find that wearing the patch lasts for a few days. You can determine when the patch needs to be replaced if one of the following occurs: 1. All the black on the metal disc is gone 2. The metal disc begins to break 3. The metal disc has a white build-up shape or gray on it 4. The gel adhesive no longer acts as an adhesive (does not stick)

What are some ways to get the most from the patch?

The hydration levels of the skin determine the effectiveness of the technology. Wet skin increases effectiveness, dry skin blocks the effects. 1. Apply the patch immediately after showering or bathing, after patting the area dry. 2. Once the metal pad has been applied to the gel and all release liners have been removed, wet your fingertip and then rub the metal pad before applying it to the skin. 3. Or wet the area of your skin where the metal disk will go and then gently apply the patch on it. Wearing a compression sleeve or something similar will help to press the patch closer to the target area and increase power.

How long until you feel the results?

It depends. The speed of the effects depends on the source of the pain. Pain that does not involve a physical tear, such as sciatica, can be relieved very quickly, sometimes within a couple of minutes. Other sources of pain, such as torn ligaments and tendons, will continue to hurt regardless of the pain reliever you use. If you continue to harm said injury, the pain will be there to prevent you from continuing the self-defeating behaviors.

How often can I use Heliopatch?

As often as you like. To date, we have not seen any signs of overdose, withdrawal or tolerance with Heliopatch. We do not recommend leaving the patch on for more than 24 hours without removing it to clean the skin area, at which point you can reapply it. If you experience burning, itching, or fever, stop using immediately. It is designed to relieve pain in people who know their source of pain.

Are there known drug reactions with Heliopatch?

Heliopatch is highly unlikely to interact with drugs, no known interactions have been reported.

Is there an allergic reaction to Heliopatch patches?

The patch does not contain any known allergens. Medical grade products are used for our product and to date we have not heard of known allergic reactions other than possible skin irritation.

It's tough, but we think the 12 minute video Danielle made for us is the beautiful testimonial we've seen of any product. She is so genuine in her experiences. https://youtu.be/BLmJxGooz04
